OUR COMPANY
Climb Hire was founded in 2019 and is a BIPOC-led, equity-focused organization with a mission to prepare working adults for jobs in technology. By teaching in-demand technical capabilities through our learning tracks alongside evergreen people skills like relationship building and networking, Climb Hire has helped hundreds of Climbers land higher-paying jobs and continue to achieve professional growth.
Climb Hire exists because we know that the tech industry has considerable work to do to ensure equitable access to opportunity and advancement. For us, this issue is personal: 70% of Climb Hire staff are BIPOC, 94% identify as women and 28% have lived experience in completing the Climb Hire training.
Climb Hire is the most efficient way to help individuals build a strong professional network outside traditional education and gain valuable technical skills for new careers.
How It Works
Step one: Apply to an open program. The application takes just a few minutes to complete.
Through partnerships with organizations and funders like Breaking Barriers and MacKenzie Scott’s Yield Giving, we are able to provide free tuition scholarships to all Climb Hire participants who enroll in 2024. That means, if you enroll in Climb Hire this year, the scholarship will cover the cost and it will be 100% free.
After receiving your application, a member of our admissions team will contact you to schedule a 30-minute interview. We’ll share information on the class, format and expectations while getting to know your interests, career journey, and goals.
If it looks like a good mutual fit, we’ll extend an offer. If not, we let you know why and talk about ways to get you ready for a future program through Climb Hire.
Yes, Day 1! You’ll join your weekly classes via Zoom, meeting teachers, fellows and classmates. You’ll also be grouped into pods of smaller learning teams to support your studies. We believe strongly in the value of connections, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities for virtual networking with current Climbers, alumni and other professionals.
You’ll work with a Career Development Advisor right away to set you up for success. They’ll learn your strengths, build your confidence, and as you apply for jobs, they’ll be there from application to your first day at work.
You did it! Your coursework and capstone project are done. You’ll join a special ceremony to graduate with your cohort and officially join the Climb Hire Alumni Community. Congratulations!

Our high-potential talent has grit. We provide 200 hours of specialized training for working adults to jumpstart their careers as Junior Salesforce Administrators, Business Analysts, Project Coordinators, and Digital Marketers. They’re diverse. They’re determined.
