IT Support training program

Climb Hire’s IT Support program trains you for entry-level tech positions by providing fundamental IT skills and hands-on experience. The course prepares you to earn CompTIA A+ certification, the industry-standard credential that hiring managers often look for on resumes. You’ll learn:

  • How to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems.
  • The fundamentals of operating systems, cybersecurity, network management, and more.
  • How to approach and solve technical problems like an IT professional.
You’ll attend live virtual classes led by instructors who make sure you understand the material and stay on track. The course requires a commitment of 20 hours per week—9 hours in class, plus 11 hours of independent assignments and practice. Plus, you'll have the option to earn the Google IT Support Professional Certificate, another respected credential in the industry.

Career preparation

Aside from technical training, you’ll also receive comprehensive career services that will help you transition directly into the tech industry:

  • 6 months of 1:1 career mentorship with an advisor who knows the Bay Area tech scene.
  • Resume, LinkedIn, and interview prep—all covered in expert-led workshops.
  • A year of LinkedIn Premium to expand your professional network.
  • Access to our Alumni Portal with curated job listings, application tools, and more.
Thanks to our comprehensive job training, our alumni have successfully secured positions as help desk specialists, IT technicians, and computer systems support analysts at companies like Google, IBM, and Discord.
