CompTIA A+ training in Colorado

Over six months, you’ll prepare for the two CompTIA A+ exams—Core 1 (220-1201) and Core 2 (220-1202)—while building the skills employers expect from entry-level IT hires.

During the training course, you’ll:

  • Learn computer hardware, software, mobile devices, and operating system fundamentals
  • Practice basic networking, troubleshooting, system setup, virtualization, and cloud computing
  • Work with ticketing systems and customer support workflows
  • Complete hands-on labs and real-world IT scenarios
  • Have the option to earn the Google IT Support Professional Certificate as a second credential
Instructor-led training is delivered live on Zoom, so you can ask questions in real time, get feedback, and learn alongside classmates instead of trying to navigate everything on your own.

Dedicated career support

CompTIA A+ certification training is only one piece of getting into tech. Climb Hire weaves career support directly into the program, so you’re not left guessing what to do once you’re certified.

You’ll receive:

  • Personalized coaching from a Career Development Advisor to help with applications, interviews, and choosing the right roles
  • Resume, LinkedIn, and portfolio support tailored to IT support positions, so you highlight relevant skills and experience
  • Mock interviews and practice scenarios to build confidence talking through troubleshooting steps and customer situations
  • Access to a professional network of alumni, employer partners, and IT industry connections, plus the Alumni Network Portal with curated job boards and application-tracking tools
  • 12 months of LinkedIn Premium, making it easier to connect with hiring managers
We’re here to help you go beyond passing an exam. By graduation, you’ll have the tools, guidance, and hands-on experience to start applying for IT jobs and feel ready for your first role.

Program extras

Climb Hire is built for working adults who often have a lot on their plates—jobs, families, and other responsibilities. To help you stay focused and on track, we offer extra support where it matters most.

  • Through our partnership with SNAP, we help ensure food insecurity doesn’t derail your progress—something many Climbers have identified as a major barrier.
  • We’re actively exploring additional support, including connections to childcare resources, internet assistance, and accommodations for learners who benefit from different learning or testing environments.
