Climb Hire: An online tech bootcamp for Colorado residents

Remote tech bootcamp
Climb Hire runs an online training program in IT support for Colorado residents looking to start a new career in tech. Our bootcamp takes just six months to complete, helping beginners in tech build in-demand skills quickly.
Free training for all students
Our program is supported by government grants and nonprofit partners, meaning eligible Colorado residents pay no tuition fees for our programs. We also take care of the exam fees for CompTIA A+ certification—the credential most employers look for when hiring entry-level tech talent.
Career support to land you a job
Climb Hire pairs technical training with the guidance you need to get hired. You’ll work with a career coach who helps you improve your resume, practice through mock interviews, and move confidently through the application process. More than 80% of Climbers land well-paying tech roles within a year.

Climb Hire’s online tech bootcamp

Our IT Support bootcamp directly prepares you for the CompTIA A+ certification. This is the standard starting point for IT careers, showing employers you can handle the core responsibilities of entry-level tech roles.

Our training is delivered through live virtual classes led by instructors who walk you through each topic in real time. The curriculum includes:

  • Troubleshooting tasks across hardware, software, and basic security
  • Operating systems, networks, cloud services, and virtualization
  • Hands-on projects that mirror the kind of scenarios you’ll face in real-world support roles
  • A second (optional) credential—the Google IT Support Professional Certificate
The weekly commitment is about 20 hours total between class time and homework.

By the end of the program, you’ll be prepared for A+ certification testing and ready to apply these skills confidently in a workplace.

Career services

Our online bootcamp includes integrated career support throughout and after the program:

  • Six months of personalized coaching with a dedicated Career Development Advisor
  • Support crafting a polished resume, cover letter, and developing an elevator pitch
  • Access to our Alumni Job Portal, which includes job leads, application tracking tools, and networking opportunities
  • A year of LinkedIn Premium to help you grow your network and connect directly with recruiters
Thanks to the program’s structure and resources, our grads have gone on to secure tech roles at well-known companies like Google, IBM, and Discord.

Additional support

We know many students balance work, family responsibilities, and limited financial resources. To help you stay on track, Climb Hire provides extra support outside the classroom.

We partner with SNAP to reduce food insecurity—one of the biggest barriers students face during training. We’re also working to expand support options related to childcare, internet access, and testing accommodations for students who need them.
