Climb Hire provides tech training to help Colorado Springs residents start rewarding careers in IT. Our remote IT Support program is available to low-income job seekers throughout the state of Colorado.

Our IT Support program costs you nothing. Thanks to government funding and nonprofit partnerships, we cover all expenses—including your certifications, such as CompTIA A+ and Google IT Support Professional.

You'll work directly with a career advisor to navigate the job search process, build the soft skills employers want, and ace interviews. More than 80% of our graduates secure tech roles within 12 months of program completion.

Climb Hire's IT Support program

Colorado Springs residents can enter tech careers through our hands-on 6-month IT Support program.

Throughout the course, you’ll learn the skills needed to earn CompTIA A+ certification—a must-have credential that IT employers want to see. We pay for both A+ exams (1101 and 1102), so you don’t have to worry about the cost.

What’s covered: 

  • How to fix hardware, software, and network security issues
  • Operating systems, cloud computing, networking, and more
  • Skills you’ll use every day in a real-world IT job
  • Option to also earn the Google IT Support Professional Certificate
You'll attend live online classes with expert instructors in IT. No pre-recorded videos—just real-time learning with immediate feedback when you need it.

Pursuing education while managing everyday responsibilities isn’t always easy. That’s why we provide supplementary resources to support your success. 

Through our SNAP partnership, we help address food insecurity, a common barrier for our students. We’re expanding our support services to include childcare resources, learning assessment tools, and internet connectivity solutions.

Prerequisites

Climb Hire candidates must meet these criteria to enroll:

  • Reside in Colorado (or California)
  • Age 24-40
  • Annual income under $30k
  • Work authorization in the US
  • Computer access with camera and microphone capabilities
  • Availability for 20 weekly hours over six months (9 hours of instruction plus 11 hours of coursework)

Colorado Springs residents can access MSU Denver's online Introduction to Cybersecurity course. This is a self-paced program that takes four to eight weeks to complete. You'll learn cybersecurity essentials, attack methods, and cryptography fundamentals.
National American University
Though based in Denver, NAU offers a Network and Server Administrator Certificate that is fully online and available to Colorado Springs residents. The program requires 36 credit hours and prepares you for server management and network administration roles.
