Cybersecurity training in Sacramento: Start with a free IT course from Climb Hire
Before Climb Hire, I was a bar manager and bartender, working an average of 60 hours a week between 2 jobs.
Climb Hire has been great! Our cohort has built a community that empowers and supports each other to grow towards the careers we want.
I finally feel like I have a future to succeed and help the people I care about. This is a community that will support you from the day you enter till after you leave. If you want to succeed and change your life for the better, then the platform is there; you just need to want it and do the hard work.
IT Support program
Climb Hire’s six-month IT Support training program prepares you for both required CompTIA A+ exams through live, instructor-led classes. You’ll get real-time feedback and direct access to instructors as you build the technical skills needed for an entry-level IT role.
The curriculum covers:
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic security issues across real-world scenarios
- Operating systems, networking, connectivity, mobile devices, cloud technologies, and virtualization
- Hands-on experience during projects that simulate common IT support environments
- The Google IT Support Professional Certificate as an optional additional credential
Getting hired after graduation
Climb Hire builds career preparation right into the program. This includes:
- Soft skills training built into classes, including professional communication, teamwork, and personal branding.
- A dedicated Career Development Advisor who works with you for six months after you graduate
- Help developing your resume and LinkedIn profile
- Mock interviews and interview coaching
- Access to curated job listings and application tracking tools through our Alumni Job Portal
- Connections to Climb Hire’s expansive network of employer partners and alumni
- A 12-month LinkedIn Premium subscription
Support beyond the classroom
Focusing on training is easier when basic needs are covered. Climb Hire partners with SNAP so eligible students can access food assistance while enrolled.
We’re also expanding support to address other common barriers—childcare, internet access, and accommodations for different learning and testing needs.
