Jonathan Garfinkel
Jonathan is a Partner and Co-Chief Operating Officer at TPG, based in San Francisco. Jonathan joined TPG in 1998 and was previously part of the TPG Capital deal team. He graduated from Stanford (undergraduate, GSB and GSE), is on the Board of HS Group, and is the outgoing board chair of Aspire Public Schools and incoming board chair for Climb Hire. Jonathan is also a member of the Stanford GSE Advisory Council.
Pamela Bookbinder Clarke
Pam is passionate about connecting people and helping them find their perfect match. Currently, she leads Recruitment for North America at Penguin Random House.
After over 15 years as an educator, Pam transitioned to a recruitment role at Achievement First, a charter management organization that runs 36 public, high-performing, college-preparatory academies in Brooklyn, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. She then served as the Managing Director of Talent at KIPP NJ | Miami, overseeing recruitment, teacher and leader development, compensation, and performance. That transitioned to her next position as the Staffing Lead at Google, where she recruited senior-level engineers and led a team of UX recruiters.
Pam received a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis and holds a Master’s in Secondary Social Studies Education from Pace University.
Adam Broitman
Adam is a Partner in the NYC office. He co-leads the healthcare provider growth service line and the digital
marketing operations and technology service line. Prior to joining McKinsey Adam led MasterCard’s global transformation. Vice President of Global Digital Marketing responsible for architecting a cross channel, global martech/adtech stack. He also served as Managing Partner for GroupM, the world’s largest media buying agency. While there, he helped grow global media clients by leading teams responsible for advanced media mix modeling, attribution and cross channel strategic planning and marketing technology. Adam also founded “creative-technology” firm Circ.us which specialized in mobile app design, marketing, creative and computer vision.
Jessie Brown
Jessie Brown serves as Senior Vice President & Chief of Staff at the American Council on Education. She leads planning and strategic initiatives across the Council, working to pursue effective public policy and serve the needs of an increasingly diverse student population across the country. She has deep experience in education and workforce law and policy, having served as the National Senior Director of Legal Affairs at Year Up, Inc., a national workforce development organization focused on supporting young adults in reaching their career and higher education potential by providing intensive skills training and experiential learning. She also served as Senior Counsel in the Office for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Education in the Obama Administration, where she worked on a wide range of initiatives combating discrimination and promoting equity in education. Jessie graduated from Harvard Law School with a J.D., and she graduated magna cum laude, with honors, from Brown University with a B.A. in political science and Hispanic studies.
Delphine Sherman
Delphine has extensive leadership experience in areas such as financial planning and analysis, risk management, accounting, audit, treasury and capital projects. Delphine is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of BRIDGE Housing, a non-profit affordable housing developer with 13,000 units under management.
Previously, she was the CFO for the Haas School of Business, University of CA at Berkeley, a top public business school with $160 million in annual revenues and a $350 million endowment. She also served as the CFO of Aspire Public Schools, a nonprofit charter management organization serving 16,000 students in low-income communities. Delphine managed a budget of $240 million and led a team of 35 staff across multiple functions.
Delphine holds a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. She lives in Berkeley with her husband and three boys.
